Fair Trade/Organic and Eco-friendly jewelry. Our products symbolize the singing of birds, the sound of running rivers, the smell of leaves and soil. They reflect seeds falling off trees blending together with leaves and limbs, coloring the ground with different shades.
The Organic Collection:
Acai and jarina seeds are some of the many seeds you can find in this collection, besides wood, mother-of-pearl among other materials that are typical from the Amazon.
The metal parts are either surgical steel or sterling silver.All these pieces are hand made in Brazil; traded at fair prices; eco-friendly and recycled, which means, they were picked from the floor, after each seed and branch fell off the tree.
Our products represent brave native Brazilians collecting the elements nature bestowed upon them; seeds that once fell off the trees, palm tree trunks that dwell on mangroves-overthrown by the power of river waters, or natural resources overlooked by local agricultural industries.
The company works with these local villagers that make the jewelry from their own homes. They learn from our vendors how to put the specific pieces of jewelry together for each collection. There is no children or forest exploitation. The concept of eco-jewelry is to marry man and nature, respecting the forest and helping local communities to gain their sustenance.
All the pieces in the Organic Collection go through a process of drying and protection, however, it is necessary to take some additional care so the pieces won't lose their vitality. Please follow the following care tips:
- Avoid water, chemical products, sun, and high temperatures exposure.
- Clean with a dried soft cloth before storing.
- Keep in a dry and ventilated area. The jute bag that accompanies each piece is essential for long term care.
